Welcome to the Gravenhurst
Curling Club!
“A Volunteer Club”
The Gravenhurst
Curling Club was formed in 1901 with a three-sheet rink. The current
six-sheet ice was built in 1958. Three-sheets were used due to the fact
that the club had only enough curling rocks for three-sheets until 1975
when more rocks were purchased. With the purchase of more rocks all
six-sheets could be utilized giving the Gravenhurst Curling Club the
only six-sheet curling club in Muskoka. The facility is complete with a
heated arena; a lounge overlooking the ice; and, a well equiped
kitchen.
This season the club will host many weekend
bonspiels, banquets and social
events for its club's members, and
out of
town guests. Find out what is suitable for you by checking out
the Schedules
[a
monthly calendar of all events
of the club] and Bonspiels
